About Us

Catalyst Worship Band is a music ministry that works with Catalyst Theatre Company and Prisoners For Christ.  We play for churches, prisons, and youth detention centers with a message of hope with songs from Casting Crowns, Jeremy Camp, Matthew West, Canvas, and others along with worship favorites from Chris Tomlin, Matt Redman, Hillsongs, and others.

Our team is made up of musicians with a heart for outreach from Cedar Park Church in Bothell, WA.

David Potter

Instrument: Acoustic guitar, lead vocals, backup vocals

As the founder and leader of both Catalyst Worship Band and Catalyst Theatre Company, David works hard to be authentic in both music and drama.  In addition to those ministries, he also joins the worship team at Cedar Park Bothell from time to time, has sung in the choir for many years, and works with Fishnet Theatre as time permits.

David works as a software engineer and has four children with his wife Michelle.

Jeff Keith

Instrument: Keyboard, backup vocals, lead vocals

Jeff provides a good balance to David, helping the team reach our audience effectively.  David and Jeff have played together as a team since the late ’90s, and Jeff plays with the Cedar Park Softer Sunday worship team on a regular basis.

Jeff works as a software engineer and has three children with his wife Tammy.

John Jones

Instrument: Backup vocals, lead vocals

John has a passion for outreach and has worked with David in both Catalysts since the early 2000s.

John works as an insurance adjuster and a landscape architect.

Kerry works as a project manager and has three lovely girls with his wife Lisa.

Shinichi Mishina
